Einav is a 40 year old high-ranking army officer who has dedicated her life to her service, including the traumatic task of identifying bodies following October 7th—an experience that left her with PTSD. Recently married and pregnant, her life took another difficult turn when she was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer (post-molar GTN), forcing her to stop working and rely on limited sick leave. The intersection of her physical illness, psychological trauma, and the loss of her professional routine created a mounting financial and emotional crisis. A grant from the Lemonade Fund provided a critical buffer, covering the costs that her reduced income could no longer bridge giving Einav the vital space to focus on her complex medical treatment and her mental health recovery. This support ensured that after years of caring for her country, she felt truly seen and cared for, providing her with the stability needed to face her journey toward healing.
